...you will only get the Post Title if you live in Asia and have seen the annoyingly repetitive commercial.
Even though Kuala Lumpur is only a 45 minute plane ride from Singapore, Ben and I rarely make it up there. We have told ourselves we should just rent a car and drive up there (a 6 hour drive), but haven’t seemed to make it happen.

Here are a few pictures of our last trip there:
Petronas Twin Towers
It amazes me how magnificent buildings like this are, yet how unorganized and chaotic the space around them. You look at these buildings and imagine an efficient infrastructure throughout the city with paved sidewalks, ramps for wheelchairs, etc….well I hate to break it to you, but that is not at all how it is. The city planners must all be occupied building masterpieces like this that they fail to organize the area around them. Kyle, I never understood what city planners really did or why their jobs were so important until I moved to Asia.
After spending a few days in the city we headed out to the jungle. Thankfully it was after our return from 4-wheeling that our guide told us of the many life-threatening animals in the area: jaguar, pythons, thousands of poisonous spiders, deadly snakes just to mention a few.
The monkey’s here were crazy! The literally chased us down for food. One even kept trying to get the gum in my pocket.
Ben’s favorite Malaysian Drink, “Dirty Boot”: ice cream, pancakes, chocolate syrup, ice and whip cream all blended up and served in a….you guessed it…boot.
Such a contrast, busy city to jungle. I am suprised to hear that it is disorganized around those towers, I guess I just assumed it would be orderly and planned since the towers seem to be. I like all the stripes in the photo of the Petronas Twin Towers. Did those aggressive monkeys make you nervous? Ben's favorite drink sounds pretty good.
